This paper is a review of the essay, Banking Concept of Education, that was written by Paulo Freire that condemns contemporary education. The author points out that the banking concept of education assumes that the student is ignorant and that the teacher is the only one who has any knowledge so that the entire education process is flawed from the start because of this premise.
